Teams come from all over the world to train at Copper Mountain in November due to some of the best snow conditions on the planet. Copper Mountain’s grooming department maintains and perfects our training lanes on Copperopolis and Rosie’s Run (World Cup venue) to ensure hard snow and high-quality training conditions. Copper boasts one of the largest snow-making systems in the world, so snow is guaranteed as long as weather permits.
Copper typically has a great diversity of terrain open, so our camp offers all-mountain freeskiing as well as fundamentals and race gate training. Join us on top of the world for Fall Ski Camp at Copper Mountain and get an edge on your competition!
Start the Season with Personalized Race Training
The NASC Fall Copper Mountain Ski Camp program is directed by the expert, full-time staff that runs our Summer camps at Mt. Hood so we may ensure the same level of outstanding training and support that has become our trademark. As Mt. Hood is to Summer race training, Copper is to Fall race training, so our team knows the area well and will ensure that campers enjoy their time on and off the slopes.
NASC offers a low 6-to-1 athlete-to-coach ratio that allows our coaches to address the individual needs of each athlete. Using athlete-centered coaching methods (see /training-methods), the coaches can quickly assess the athletes’ motivation, level of understanding, movements, and equipment, and custom tailor a plan for each athlete.
Slalom and Giant Slalom training is the primary focus at Fall ski camp. New techniques, equipment, race lines, modern ski tuning, and proper warm-ups, among other things, will all be covered as a part of our training curriculum. We use only SPM gates and pride ourselves in setting safe, well-maintained modern courses. The Excellerator Lift that provides access to our premium training lanes has a 6-minute turnaround time allowing for ample gate training.
The NASC base of operations/accommodations is Copper Mountain Inn Condos, which is slopeside in Center Village. Full Program campers get daily breakfast at Jack’s (just across the plaza) and lunch and dinner at Copper Mountain Inn Condos. Campers have access to our health club where we often conduct afternoon dryland training and go for a swim. Each day includes tactical discussions and/or video review sessions (including detailed movement analysis), so athletes are ready and focused for the next day.
NASC programs are available to suit different ages and skill levels. Whether learning fundamentals to simply get more enjoyment out of skiing or training for professional competitions, you’ll find the coaching, training, and support you need at the NASC Fall Copper Mountain Ski Camp.

NASC is where I love to train! They do an excellent job of athlete development. I think the world of their program-best training, lanes, and courses on Mt. Hood. The team really knows what they're doing. They set up terrain-specific skill development training that helps the athletes improve fast.
- Deb Armstrong, former U.S. Ski Team World Cup Alpine Ski Racer & Olympic Gold Medalist
IN THEIR WORDS…
I grew up going to NASC every summer and couldn’t wait for my kids to experience it too. It's proven to be just as much fun for them as it was for me 25-years ago! The on-hill experience is top-notch, the coaching staff is wonderful, and the after-ski activities make it the summer camp experience that kids dream of. All of the kids had so much fun, were safe, and improved so much!
- Jody Curtis, Former NASC Athlete and Park City Ski Team Parent
IN THEIR WORDS…
All 3 of my kids have gone to NASC Fall and Summer camps for years. They still attend and absolutely love it! The Coaches at NASC can make any skier, at any ability level, better. The coaches' knowledge of modern skiing and surface preparation is unmatched. NASC coaches really care about each and every athlete and share their passion for the sport.
- Mike Regrut, Parent of Telluride Ski Team Athlete & D1 Racer
IN THEIR WORDS…
NASC was one of the best decisions I've ever made on behalf of my son. His first stay away from family was with NASC at age 11. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The coaches and training are best-in-class. NASC is by far his favorite camp and ski training experience. Our ski team now sends multiple athletes to NASC.
- Derek Stagner, Hidden Valley Ski Team Parent & Board President
IN THEIR WORDS…
Brad taught me a lot on the snow! What a wealth of knowledge!
- Sandy Perrins, Stratton Mountain School & Bates College Ski Racer
IN THEIR WORDS…
It’s such an amazing camp. It’s low key enough to make people feel like they belong, no matter their skill level, and has such great structure and such keen coaches - that every athlete will be challenged and inspired to learn. Our family highly recommends the NASC camps! Brad and his team create the type of environment we want for our kids – top-notch athletics, coupled with lots of good, summer fun!
- Tabitha Andersen, Vail Ski Club Parent
